Getting more and more excited to perform in The Brooklyn Nutcracker coming up in just over a month!
Please find information on the show at the following link: www.brooklynballet.org/news/2016/brooklyn-nutcracker-brooklyn-museum And buy your tickets here: https://web.ovationtix.com/trs/cal/34418 Very excited to be teaching the Introduction to Ballet Workshop at Ballet School of Stamford November 5 and 12 from 4:30-6:30 pm. It is $40 total for both days and it will be super fun! It's perfect for the adult who is looking for the perfect way to start or re-start their ballet training, and also for the more advanced dancer who wants to refresh their technique fundamentals. I am so looking forward to teaching the Stamford community!

On Sunday I participated in a flash mob in Union Square in support of Hillary Clinton. I was one of over 200 dancers dressed in pantsuits dancing in unison to Justin Timberlake. The official video hasn't come out yet, but there was a lot of press and a lot of onlookers posting to social media. Here's a link to the article in Elle Magazine: www.elle.com/culture/career-politics/news/a39728/pantsuits-flash-mob-hillary-clinton/
Very excited to have signed with Brooklyn Ballet for their new production of "The Nutcracker!" We will be performing at the Brooklyn Museum December 7-11. Over the past two weeks we have been creating the "Waltz of the Flowers" under the direction of ballet historian Claudia Jeschke and Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson. This version is inspired by the notations of Petipa's original choreography. It's been a fun collaborative process and it is going to turn out beautifully!
This week I had the privilege of assistant teaching for Ballet Tech's Introduction to ballet program. Children selected from auditions at NYC public elementary schools got to have their very first taste of ballet. Even from Day 1 we instill discipline and technique, and it's amazing to see how quickly so many of them pick it up!
This is also my second week back at Ballet School of Stamford, and I love to see my students come back a little more advanced after the summer. During summer vacation, everything they learned last year sinks in and they come back strong and eager for more! In my free time this week, I also took a private voice lesson from Brad Ross and an audition class at BDC with Bettina Sheppard. I'm working on some new audition songs and can't wait to use them. I can feel my voice getting stronger and more confident everyday! Last Thursday I had the opportunity to model in Style/Pointe at Dixon Place with Thomas/Ortiz Dance. I wore a chic black sequin bodysuit and tutu-inspired mini skirt designed by Tamika Rose at Girls in Ballet School. I danced my heart out on the runway!
